every time you blink it's the first week in june and you're counting the minutes until you're back home. the air's thicker with expectations than my mind is. and your suitcases are lying empty at the bottom of the front stairwell but my heart's been packed full. i want to know what i should be taking away from this. i want know if i can still make your heart skip from half a country away. i want to be something cataclysmic so i'll stick in your memory.
